Holy Toledo!
Well, not quite. More like Holy Bowling Green, which is where we are right now. See, we were driving along listening to Rihanna and all of a sudden our trusty van started making some strange noises. After getting a few worried looks from passing cars, we decided to pull over and check things out. Turns out a few lug nuts snapped right off the back wheel, which looked tipsier than our co-traveler/videographer Colin Medley after a few too many cans of Miller High Life. Trouble.
After getting in touch with a towing company, we realized that there wouldn’t be enough room for everyone in the truck. Faced with the possibility of having to hitch-hike to the garage, Kyle sent a text to our pals Ohbijou on the off chance that they might be nearby and able to help. Turns out they were, like, five minutes away! So they pulled off the highway, picked us up and followed the tow truck to the garage where I’m sitting and writing this post. Here’s a pic of Greg and the van getting loaded up onto the truck.

So don’t worry. It’s actually not that bad. We’ve got complimentary coffee and they’re playing LCD Soundsystem in the waiting room. Sick! The van’s gonna be fixed soon and hopefully we’ll be back home tonight! We’ve got some fun pictures from our Pop Montreal showcase that we were gonna post as well. So wait for those. Tomorrow. It was a crazy awesome show.
Peace,
John O

Sounds like you guys pulled a Chris Brown on your wheels.
Will it take you back when all is said and done?

I’m happy to say that we kissed and made up (me and the van, that is) and we’ll be back in Toronto for dinner.
